For after God created all living things, He rested on the seventh day.  The seventh day is a day of spiritual and physical renewal.  We are asked to rest and align our spiritual energy with God thereby renewing, refreshing and replenishing our mind, body and spirit.

Jesus performed 7 miracles of healing and casting out evil spirits on God’s holy Sabbath Day, to publicly affirm the sacredness of God and how necessary belief in God is important in our lives.

In the Gospel of John, Jesus is a great comfort to us with His seven “I Am” statements: 1) I am the bread of life; 2) I am the light of the world; 3) I am the door; 4) I am the Good Shepard; 5) I am the resurrection and the life; 6) I am the way, and the truth, and the life; 7) I am the true vine.
