Try Mantras!

Our words have power. In Romans 4:17, we are told to “speak those things that are not as though they were.” Affirmations and mantas help us to give power to our words.

Many of you have heard of affirmations, but perhaps some may not be as familiar with mantras. Mantras are motivational words or concise phrases describing the YOU, that you want to be. Similar to affirmations, but mantras do not use the word I at the beginning of your phrase.

Mantras are slogans or bold words that command a breakthrough of your mind, body, and spirit.

Consider mantras as your verbal calling card. Now what would your mantra say? Here are a few examples.

  • Bold and Fierce
  • Be strong and of good courage.
  • The enlightened one
  • Wisdom and discernment direct my path.

Take a moment to develop your mantra and speak life into your situation.
