The 10 Happiest Places to Work in 2013

Wouldn’t it be great to work in a place where you would be happy all of the time? Ok, well if not all of the time, at least most of the time. But we all know that happiness is a state of mind, and we also know that there are external factors that can make work just a little bit easier of a place to relax and enjoy. Forbes has made it a bit easier for us to determine 10 top cities where we could be happier in the workplace.

Criteria included a 36,000 independent employee review panel who evaluated 10 factors on workplace happiness. The factors ranged from compensation, growth opportunities, work environment, control over work done on a daily basis, relationship with boss and co-workers, daily tasks, job resources, company reputation, and company culture. Each factor was evaluated on a five-point scale. All 10 cities are noted below with their highest ranked factors. For a list of the full results, you can visit Forbes website.
