In a generation of what seems to be the privileged; even though, we are in the midst of one of the worst financial crisis since the depression. It’s refreshing to come across those whom are appreciative, thankful and even humble for the everyday simplicities of life.
Some seem to think, that tooting their own horn can get them far in life, at least that’s what most of today’s reality TV shows are all about. However nothing could be further from the truth. What happens to these reality TV stars once their shows are cancelled and the limelight has faded?
In Numbers 12:3 we learn that Moses was one of the most humble men who walked the earth and his story of how he led the Israelites to the Promised Land is certainly a story that no one will ever forget.
Perhaps if we are interested in receiving more blessings from God, we might want to consider another approach. One that might include how important it is to understand what it means to be humble.
